The Athens Area Walk to Emmaus will have a Gathering this fall AT THE HARTWELL MENNONITE CENTER.
Here are the basic details:
What: Worship, Food, Fellowship with the Community When: Sunday September 12, at 4pm Where: Hartwell Mennonite Center 3214 Royston Highway Hartwell, GA 30643
Why: To lift up the name of Jesus, and to encourage one another, and to re-connect with old friends This will be a great opportunity to see old friends, encourage others, and be encouraged yourself. Plus, I am sure we'll have some great food. For this event we need worship leader(s) and a 4th day speaker. So let me or another board member know if you are interested. Other details will be announced as the day approaches, but MARK SEPT 12 afternoon on your calendar.
Now, looking beyond that September Gathering, we have great expectations for later Gatherings, for growing reunion groups, for organizing teams for the March 2022 Walks, for finding and sponsoring Pilgrims for those Walks, for... well, you get the point. So be thinking about what part you can play in the Athens Area Walk To Emmaus Community this Fall and into next year.
